The University of Zakho participated in the International Conference in Jordan, represented by Dr.Farsat Abdullah Yahia and Dr. Iz Aldin Hassan Jameel, lecturers from the Department of Islamic studies at the University of Zakho. This conference, dedicated for departments of Shari'a, Law and Media at Zarqa University in Jordan on 30 till 31 of March, 2016, was attended by 80 researchers from 14 countries and was sponsored by the Minister of Information and press affairs in Jordan.

At the first session, opened by the General Mufti of Jordan Shikh.Abdulkarim Alkhasawna, Dr.Farsat Yahia thanked by his name and on behalf of the University of Zakho, Zarqa University for arranging this scientific conference and also presented his papers about The Importance of Dialogue in Light of Quran and Sunnah. At the beginning, Dr.Yahia highlighted the meaning of Dialogue for being Islam's main method of Da'wa, and emphasized its important role to solve problems and organize all of the life affairs and encouraged the coexisting of dialogue method, first of all, among all Muslims so as to discuss the effective idea and approve the ones that are accepted by the most. and then its coexistent between the Muslims and non-Muslims to establish strong relations between them and maintain peaceful coexistence.

On the second day, Dr.Iz Aldin Jameel was able to present his papers about The Manners of Dialogue in Quran reassuring the importance of dialogue and the manners needed between the sides included. In the end, the chairman of the conference gave the attendances the chance discuss and ask questions.
